When the clock strikes midnight, this party is rockin! And it all starts with our clock-shaped Tick Tock New Year’s Party Invitations, the inspiration for a New Year’s Eve celebration of fun and games planned by celebrations.com.
The green color of the invitation was carried throughout the decorations, incorporating green and white florals, prints, dots and stripes, topped off with a sparkling green bow on the antique clock centerpiece. Games and puzzles are popular New Year’s Eve party ideas, but rather than play just one, several games were set up on tables around the room encouraging kids and adults to move around from challenge to challenge.
Appetizers were as fun to look at as they were to eat, including tomato soup shooters served in shot glasses with mini grilled ham and cheese garnishes; breadsticks with marinara sauce for dipping; and mint ice cream bon bons topped with candles.
Festive party favors were made out of reused pop-top fruit cans (see how) decorated with glitter paper and ribbon and filled with little chocolate treats. Noisemakers were readily available when the clock struck twelve, and after all the toasts and noise died down everyone took a fortune cookie and read their fortune out loud. It was a wonderful way to welcome the New Year.
