I have ordered from here in the past and have been satisfied, but not this year. The card looked great online, but the card was horrible. The pictures were extremely dark. I understand it may have been the picture itself but I thought they would proof it and let me know. Instead I have to send out crappy Christmas cards. Beyond disappointed! Will order from somewhere else next year.

While technology is wonderful, bright screens often display photos lighter than they are when printed. Our suggestion to avoid dark photos is to check monitor and/or mobile phone brightness prior to personalizing cards.
In previous years I've had problems with accurate color on my cards but accepted Peartree's explanation that it was the fault of my photos. This year we had a friend who is a professional photographer take our photos. Beautiful quality, taken in her studio with studio lighting. I was very disappointed that the color looked like it had been filtered with gray! My skin was gray. My orange cat wasn't orange. I returned the cards at my own expense (over $10) and had them made up by my friend's professional resource. They were stunning and true to color. Meanwhile I had to call three times to get the address to return the cards to and a return number. This is not the company it used to be.

I keep coming back to Pear Tree because the quality and attn to detail are unmatched. Their software is easy to use and I get nothing but compliments every year on my cards. Ironically, people have come to expect them!
It is amazing to design own card
I love pear tree greetings cards. order them every year for Christmas and have never been disappointed. This year was no exception. The quality of the card is excellent, love the design options/customizations that are possible. I get compliments on my pear tree cards every year.
