I have used pear tree for the last 3 years for our Christmas cards. I've been so pleased with the quality of the cards up until this year. The pictures on the card printed pretty dark and you can't even see our dog in some of the pictures. I know it is a little bit of a dark picture to begin with, but our photographer brightened up the pics for us so they would print nicely and they are really just very dark. I wish I could write a better review as we have been so pleased in the past, but I am very disappointed with this years cards.
We pride ourselves on excellent print quality and are sorry to hear you aren't thrilled with your cards. While technology is wonderful, bright screens often display photos lighter than they are when printed. Our suggestion to avoid dark photos is to check monitor and/or mobile phone brightness prior to personalizing cards.
We've been using Pear Tree for several years now, and we are never disappointed. The design and quality are great and our family and friends are always impressed.
