Up First: Invite with a Cute Camping Birthday Invite

Leave it to us to get inspired by the invitation, right? We’re suckers for all things design and have a soft spot for kid’s birthday invitations. They’re just so fun and whimsical!

This new camp-themed birthday party invitation is absolutely adorable. A bright and woodsy color palette, fun geometric details and your kiddo’s name lit up in the night sky. What could be more fun?! You can update the fonts and wording on this invitation to fit any style and create an invitation that’s truly one-of-a-kind.

Next: Camping-Themed Activities

Every party needs some planned activities or we know what happens: total chaos. Or worse, boredom. Luckily for you, there is an abundance of camping themed party activities on our favorite planning resource ever: Pinterest.

In our inspo board we featured this amazing outdoor adventure scavenger hunt which is such a simple activity, but will keep the kids busy and having so much fun. We just love how they are printed right on paper bags so your little campers can carry their treasures around. If you’re musically inclined, little ones would love songs around the campfire. For older campers, scary (okay, not SO scary) stories are always a hit!

And Of Course: Camping-Themed Food

Camp food. If you’ve never been camping before, well, trust us, there’s nothing better! You can go one of two ways with a camping themed birthday party.

First, you can go super authentic. Grab a pack of hot dogs, some buns, gather up a few sticks and have those kids cook their own dinner over a campfire. Trust us, they’ll love it and you will too (hello, the utensils get tossed right in the fire when you’re done!).

If you’re looking for something a little more…let’s say glampy, go for some mini cheeseburger sliders. Create a fun trail mix station and let the party goers make their own custom treat. No matter which direction you go, be sure to top it off with a s‘mores themed sweet treat!
