Christmas Card FAQs

  • How fast will I receive my order?
Orders leave the facility within 1-2 business days and may take up to 7 days for shipping depending on the shipping method you choose. Check out our Shipping & Delivery page for more details.

  • When should I send my Christmas Cards?
Send your Christmas cards 7-10 days before Christmas. The U.S. Postal Service says that standard delivery takes 2-8 days, and with the holidays being an incredibly busy season for the postal service, you will definitely want to plan some wiggle room.

  • What if I’m ordering late?
Christmas cards are printed quickly but shipping can take longer during busy seasons. You can expedite shipping (see our Shipping & Delivery page for more details). Remember though, a day or two late is not a big deal for most people. However, if you want to send holiday greetings but avoid the Christmas rush, consider sending New Year’s Cards.

  • What should I write in my Christmas Cards?
If you’re planning on writing a letter… here are some ideas for what to include: hobbies, vacations, promotions, work changes, moves, home projects, community involvement, church activities, pet updates, children updates (including ages, grades, activities). You can also read What to Say in Your Christmas Letter for some more elaborate examples of wording.

  • If you’re brainstorming phrases…make sure your Christmas card message includes a "headliner," the phrase recipients read first. This could be your typical "Merry Christmas" but can also be more creative! Here are some ideas for Christmas card sayings you’ll love:

Whimsical: Believe / Merry & Bright
