FAQ: Class of 2027 Graduation Announcements & Invitations

Can I add foil to my graduation announcements?

With our new foil customization experience, you can turn any text or artwork into shining foil with just a click. Choose from gorgeous foil colors like gold, rose gold, red, and copper to highlight your graduate's name, Class of 2027, favorite saying, or other design elements. It's a fun way to give your graduation cards an extra-special finish!

Can I add a QR code to my graduation announcements?

Yes! Adding a QR code is a great way to share additional information with family and friends. Link your QR code to a graduation wishlist, Venmo account, online photo gallery, personal website, or another webpage you'd like guests to visit. It's an easy way to include helpful links without adding lots of extra wording to your graduation announcement or party invitation.

How many photos can I include on my graduation announcements?

That depends on the design you choose! Pear Tree offers graduation announcements with everything from one standout senior portrait to multiple-photo layouts and photo collages. Some unique formats, including trifold and gatefold designs, also provide extra space to show off more of your favorite photos.

Can graduation announcements also be used as party invitations?

Absolutely! Many graduation announcement designs can double as graduation party invitations. Simply personalize your card with your party date, time, location, RSVP information, and other details. It's a great way to share your graduation news and invite everyone to celebrate at the same time.

Should I send graduation announcements for a college graduation?

Definitely! Graduating from college is a major accomplishment, and friends and family will love celebrating your achievement. Whether you're graduating from high school, college, or a graduate program, personalized graduation announcements are a wonderful way to share the news.

Who should I mail graduation announcements to?

Send graduation announcements to family, friends, teachers, coaches, mentors, neighbors, and anyone who has been part of your graduate's journey. Think of the people who have supported, encouraged, and cheered your grad on along the way. If your announcement also serves as a party invitation, be sure to consider your venue capacity and guest list.

When should I send graduation announcements?

You can send graduation announcements about 2–3 weeks before graduation or shortly after the ceremony. If you're announcing the accomplishment after graduation, try to mail your cards within four weeks of the ceremony. If your announcement also includes a party invitation, send it early enough for guests to make plans.

When should I order graduation announcements for the Class of 2027?

It's a good idea to order your graduation announcements several weeks before you plan to mail them. This gives you plenty of time to choose your favorite senior photos, personalize your design, review your wording, and receive your cards before graduation celebrations begin. Ordering early is especially helpful during the busy spring graduation season!

What's the difference between a graduation announcement and a graduation invitation?

A graduation announcement shares the exciting news that someone is graduating. A graduation party invitation includes details about an upcoming celebration, such as the date, time, and location. Many Pear Tree graduation announcement designs can be personalized to serve as both an announcement and a party invitation.

What should I include on my graduation party invitations or announcements?

Your graduation announcement or party invitation can include all the important details, such as:

• Graduate's full name
• Class year and school name
• Graduation date
• Party or open house date, time, and location
• RSVP information, if needed
• Optional details like achievements, extracurricular activities, future plans, or a favorite quote

You can also add a QR code linking to a graduation wishlist, Venmo, or another webpage you'd like to share with guests.
